lately: flipping the script when I have moments of overwhelm in life and in business to ask myself “what’s the best that could happen”… a cousin to the “why not”… with a dose of “I trust myself”…and “I got this”.

It’s not always the easiest, trust me I get it.

Looking back, there have been moments of deep reflection, loneliness and sadness that I’ve sat in for a while and it took a long time to reframe my mind to ask what’s the best that could happen, have more faith and believe in myself, instead of the usual narrative or spiral that happens, where I worry or think the worst of things or myself- but we are human - and we all have seasons that we go through in life. I’ll still have my moments of doubt and worry, I’m not perfect, but I’m acknowledging my progress and I’m thankful for it.

Surrounding myself with other dreamers, doers and women who cheer me on, support me and whole heartedly want to see me win has been a game changer. Having people in your corner is a beautiful blessing. For that I am beyond grateful.

After all, life is happening for me. ✨🤍

Throw back to last Thursday, where I got to connect with some new peeps and catch up with some of my favorites at the @womeninbusinessct networking event @crushwinebarct ✨🤍 (missing a few other gems too!)

I’m really glad that I decided to go to their very first networking event back in 2023 by myself and show up for myself, because if I didn’t, I would have never met and connected with so many amazing women in this community.

If you are ever on the fence about going, or you’re afraid to go alone, please reach out to me.

I know it can be really intimidating to show up to a new place and not know anybody, but at the same time, I think it’s really freeing and empowering to also put yourself out there. Maybe it’s stepping out of your comfort zone and showing up in a new space - especially one where you are surrounded by like minded women.

Women who want to connect, grow our businesses, learn from others, see other women succeed, support each other, and thrive in business and in life.
